In what seems like almost perfect timing, Steet Fighter II has been released on the Virtual Boy at the same time as the three Super NES games on the Wii U Virtual Console. The homebrew scene is ripe on the Virtual Boy, some games even getting the full boxed treatment like

Are you still wondering why there are so many issues when it comes to whether or not the next Call of Duty is hitting a Nintendo console? It happened with the last two Call of Duty games on the Wii, where they weren't confirmed to come to Wii until mere weeks before launch. Then there were flip-flopping confirmations that Call of Duty: Ghosts was/wasn't coming to Wii U. At the end of the day the news is good s...

Posted by Streex on August 13, 2013 at 6:40 PM Comments comments (0)

Xenoblade Chronicles is widely regarded as the best game to come out on Wii in North America in 2012, which is crazy because there was a time Nintendo wasn't even going to bring it stateside. Finally it happened but only with a limited release so there wouldn't be any copies left sitting on the shelves. It sure has been a long time since we've seen our slimy friend Earthworm Jim grace a console. Some of my favorite platforming came from the Earthworm Jim games, largely because of the strange but captivating music and graphics. If this is just thinking out loud it's a terrible joke, but Doug TenNapel hints that Earthworm Jim may return.

It's starting to get hot out there gamers, so after you work on your tan by the swimming pool it's time to take shelter indoors and cool off with a lemonade and some gaming.
