Super Smash Bros. Takes Over Japan

Posted by Streex on September 13, 2014 at 10:35 PM Comments comments ()

Super Smash Bros. is out now in Japan and the masses took over the stores. The line in the video below looks like a November Black Friday crowd, but this is all for one 3DS game in September. Out here in North America, all we can do is look on in awe as we wait for our turn on October 3. There's no doubt that if you have a 3DS, you need to own this game, and it should also help hardware numbers push past the 50 millio...

Today Nintendo thought it was time to go over a few new details about the upcoming Bayonetta 2, and it looks like we'll be getting even more outfits to wear. To go with the Peach, Link, and Samus outfits, you can also dress up as Fox McCloud and Daisy. The outfits themselves do more than make you look different, because each will grant you special abilities. The Samus suit will let you Morph Ball, battle with Arwings...

Posted by Streex on August 20, 2014 at 4:40 AM Comments comments ()

I gotta say, I ran out of fingers and toes trying to count all the exclusive games on Wii U while watching this video. Nintendo released this sizzle reel to remind us that when it comes to games you can only find on one console, Wii U has the most. There are a ton here, most coming in the next several months, some we are already enjoying. While watching, I recommend grabbing a pen and pad and start making up that wish l...

Video :: The World's Biggest Zelda Fan Leaves Us With The Best Memories

Posted by Streex on August 12, 2014 at 2:55 AM Comments comments ()

An incredibly brilliant actor, standup comedian, human being, and gamer. Robin Williams left us today at 63 years young, but no one is more heartbroken than his family and daughter Zelda, who he named after Zelda from The Legend of Zelda series. The man made us all laugh through countless movies and acts on stage, we are all at such a great loss. I personally first became amused with Robin watching him act as an oddball...

Video :: Ganondorf A Playable Character In Hyrule Warriors

Posted by Streex on August 5, 2014 at 3:25 AM Comments comments ()

The Hyrule Warriors Nintendo Direct tonight offered up some new footage, including DLC costume sets, Adventure mode, and Zant and Ghirahim as playable characters. But Nintendo saved the best for last when they pulled the cover off Ganondorf as a playable character. I didn't know Ganondorf's hair was that long, unless he's been growing it out since the last time we saw him. We get to see him use his great sword in batt...

Are you getting frustrated during your long gaming sessions on Wii U? Play for 3 hours and see the red battery light come on? It happened to me too many times, so it was time to do something about it. This High-Capacity Battery made by Nintendo gives you 8 long hours of continuous gameplay, long enough to handle most gaming sessions. Just say no to dead GamePad, and say yes to staying up to see the sunrise.

Video :: Fire Hopping: Should It Stay Or Go?

Another Mario Kart, another exploit. Or is it? Back when Mario Kart DS was released a technique known as snaking gave those that learned how to perform it an edge, and frustrated those on the receiving end. It gave the player a speed boost everytime it was used successfully, giving the player an unfair advantage. There was a lot of commotion on the interwebs about it, forcing some to stop playing the game online altoge...

Video :: Man Up and Quit Complaining About VC Prices!

Posted by Streex on June 4, 2014 at 12:40 AM Comments comments ()

This guy puts things in perspective, enough so to shut up anyone that is still complaining about the cost of Virtual Console games. I know we want all the games we can get our hands on for as little cash as possible, but the thing is, if there is no cost at all, we'll be playing Flappy Bird clones for free for years to come. In the video below, I enjoyed the fact that he did the homework to prove how much we are savin...

Video :: Mario Just Pimped Out His Ride

Posted by Streex on May 30, 2014 at 4:25 AM Comments comments ()

Mario Kart 8 is now on! Time to hit the tracks once more with family and friends in one of Nintendo's biggest titles to grace the Wii U. We've been hoping Nintendo would give us some DLC to expand the experience down the road, and it looks like that will happen. Already announced in Japan, and most likely soon in America, cross marketing is taking place between Nintendo and Mercedes-Benz. If you want to drive the new GLA...
