Female Link On Display In Hyrule Warriors Art Book

Have you ever wondered what The Legend of Zelda would be like if Link was a girl? Apparently Nintendo has thought about it. In the art book for Hyrule Warriors, there is some concept art that shows off a female Link. As you can see below, there is very little difference between male and female Link besides hair length and apparel. Would Nintendo ever make a Zelda game with a female Link? It is definitely possible. It might ruffle a few Zelda purist feathers and make the storyline even more confusing, but there is no rule in Hyrule lore that says the chosen one has to come back as a male. Tempt fate if you must in the future Nintendo, the game will still be as fun as ever!
