Mario Kart 8 DLC Just Got A Whole Lot Better

Right after we get a heaping dose of leaked Super Smash Bros. news, Nintendo drops a beefy load of Mario Kart 8 DLC info. This November (or preorder tomorrow!), for only $8, you can download pack 1 which includes 3 characters (Tanooki Mario, Cat Peach, and Link), 4 new vehicles, and 8 new courses. Call me cray cray, but that sounds like one hell of a deal. In May next year, get ready for pack 2 which will have another 3 new characters (Villager, Isabelle, and Dry Bowser), 4 more new vehicles, and 8 more courses. Some of these new courses will be located in the worlds of F-Zero, Animal Crossing, The Legend of Zelda, and Excitebike. Did I mention one of the new vehicles is Captain Falcon's Blue Falcon? Buy both packs for only $12. If a $4 discount for getting both packs doesn't sound interesting enough, Nintendo will also throw in 8 different colored Yoshi's and Shy Guys, which become immediately available to you when you preorder. Way to do DLC right Nintendo! Now I'm starting to see how Amiibo is going to work with more characters in other games besides Super Smash Bros.
