Hello Ninfest Nation. It brings me great sadness that I'm going to put Ninfest on hold for an indefinite period of time. Life has gotten too busy for me to continue to run the site by myself. Maybe down the road I'll find myself with less responsibility to get Ninfest running again, or maybe I'll find a group of Nintendo enthusiasts that want to run the site with me, but right now it isn't feasible. Over the past 7 years it has been fun discussing Nintendo with you guys on the forums, marathons, and podcasts, so it sucks that it has to come to this. I hope to put on another marathon next year, but this year it just will not happen. This site has been a part of me for so long, it almost feels like I'm losing a family member.

Of course there are many other great Nintendo sites out there, and Nintendo will continue to bring the goods for years to come, so I'm sure I'll bump into some of you down the road. I will continue to play games on my Wii U and 3DS, so if you guys want to stay in touch, please look me up on Miiverse. I'm Streex.
